Paint & Coatings
Extender pigmentCalcium carbonate is used in many paint and coating formulations as an extender — helping control body and rheology, adjust the gloss level, and improve the cost of the formulation. Suitability and addition rate depend on the system and the finish required.

Plastics
PE / PP fillerA mineral filler used in many polyethylene and polypropylene applications — film, injection moulding and extrusion. Grade selection and addition rate depend on the requirements of the product, and coated grades are generally chosen where dispersion in the polymer matters.

Filler Masterbatch
Filler baseCalcium carbonate is the mineral base of filler masterbatch, and dispersion governs how the masterbatch performs — so coated grades are normally selected. The coating level and the median particle size are chosen against the masterbatch specification and the end film or moulded part.

PVC Pipes & Profiles
Coated for processingA mineral filler used in many rigid PVC pipe and profile formulations. Coated grades are commonly selected to assist dispersion and processing behaviour; grade and addition rate depend on the formulation and the properties being targeted.

PVC Compound
Coated for dispersionUsed as a mineral filler in rigid and flexible PVC compound, whether you supply dry blend or pelletised material. The Stearic Acid treatment supports dispersion through high-speed mixing, and the coating level is measured on every grade rather than estimated. Grade and addition rate depend on the compound specification.

Rubber

Paper

Ceramics
